Though all aspects of railroads are featured, the library has a particular emphasis on passenger rail heritage. The library has one of the largest collections of books and videos related to Amtrak and the history of Amtrak. Many are very rare volumes that are difficult to find anywhere else. Temporarily closed until Spring 2016 during relocation.

  5. APRHF Rail Lookout Cabin & Deck  - (Photos) [1 min], at the end of the road behind the La Pachanga Mexican Restaurant. All weather heated train observation cabin & deck overlooking the BNSF transcontinental mainline. Includes free WiFi, electric outlets, BBQ and outhouses. ATCS monitor and rail radio audio provide notification of approaching trains.
