Online Resource of Passenger Rail History

204 East Moore Street, P.O. Box 175, La Plata, Missouri 63549, 660-616-4676

The APRHF plans to create an online resource of American passenger rail history. This will be a complete history of passenger rail in America posted to the APRHF website.

There are many books about passenger rail history as well as a number of various online sources. The APRHF would like to create a consolidated and comprehensive history of American passenger rail history online and all at one website.

We hope to obtain and post as many documents and photos as possible that are in the public domain as well as include valuable copyright material that we obtain permission to post. The APRHF will clearly point out which material is copyright and which is in the public domain so that material can more easily be shared.

Much work will be needed by volunteer researchers and writers to create this website.
