Most APRHF members will probably rarely if ever visit the APRHF venues in La Plata, Missouri. Thus, until local active chapters are established across the nation for the APRHF, a print journal might be the only major contact that most members will have with the APRHF. That means the APRHF needs to create a quality print journal to be published and sent to members on a regular schedule. Initially a quarterly publication could serve this purpose.
The APRHF would like this journal to cover all aspects of the preservation of passenger rail heritage of America, including the history of Amtrak. This will include news items as wells as articles educating the readers about passenger rail history.
If you have experience in editing, publishing, or doing research and writing articles, the APRHF needs your volunteer help on this new publication. Please click here to volunteer. If you are not already a member of the APRHF, the first thing you can do to help us in this area is to become an APRHF member at the highest level that you can afford. Please CLICK HERE to join now.
